Russia has announced that it will stop gas supplied to Europe from tomorrow [27/0/2022] in what is seen as a tit-for-tat move in “retaliation” for EU Sanctions invoked after Russia´s illegal invasion of sovereign state Ukraine.
The announcement comes as EU state countries are set to approve a weakened emergency proposal to curb their gas demand as the Union is moving to wean itself off all Russian gas in what is seen as preparation for the inevitable total shut off which insiders believe will be sooner than later.
Meanwhile hopes that a deal agreed last Friday [22/07/2022] to enable Ukraine to export grain have been dashed after a salvo of missile attacks in the Black Sea regions. Click Here to receive our full Analysis direct to your inbox or Smart device
