OIL PRICES: Oil Prices have remained ominously flat which, when one considers the ramifications of the current Geopolitical landscape especially since tensions have escalated between the US/UK alliance against the Iranian state sponsored Houthi rebels in Yemen with further air strikes reported yesterday [22/01/24] against the proscribed military outfit. 2. ISRAEL/HAMAS WAR: Israel is reported to be ready to call a two month “sabbatical” to facilitate all Hostage release. The Israeli originating communique to Hamas was sent by the current back channel i.e. via Qatar and Egypt is suggesting that a phased ceasefire could be implemented to ensure the freedom of All Hostages being held by Hamas in Gaza. 3. HOUTI AGGRESSION: Following on from the above story, The UK & US have carried out more strikes in what UK Defence Secretary Grant Schapps described as “self-defence” after the “intolerable attacks” carried out by the proscribed group.
