The IEA (International Energy Agency) has released its Monthly Oil Price Statistics, available for free download.

In July 2023, prices of oil products in key countries generally increased, following a 12.7% increase of crude oil price, although the level did not reach that of July 2022.

End-use prices for transport fuels differ across countries, depending on the share of taxes and governmental measures aimed at sheltering consumers from price variations, as discussed in a recent IEA commentary.

The IEA Monthly Oil Price Statistics includes monthly end-user prices up to month M-1 for selected countries and products. It is an excerpt of the data available in the IEA Energy Prices database, which is published once a year and includes energy prices data for all OECD and more than 100 non-OECD countries.
