SAUDI ASSUMES HONEST BROKER ROLE …
Saudi Arabia has assumed the mantle of “honest broker” fielding a Ukraine peace initiative to discuss and debate Ukraine´s 10-point peace formula; which calls for the withdrawal of Russian troops, the release of all prisoners, a tribunal for those responsible for the aggression and security guarantees for Ukraine. ECOWAS GIVES ULTIMATUM TO COUP LEADERS …
The powerful pact of African states ECOWAS (The Economic Community of West-African States) has given an ultimatum to the Niger coup leaders – first by imposing immediate and far reaching Sanctions and have threatened Military intervention unless ousted President Mohamed Bazoum within a week is fully reinstated to power after the latest coup in the Sahel region caused serious concern on the continent. SUICIDE ATTACK ON JUMAIT ULEMA-E-ISLAM …
A suicide attack on Pakistan political rally has killed at least 44 and injured over 200 in the attack on Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam in north-western Bajaur. Responsibility for the attack remains “unclaimed” and the ideology behind it is still unclear.
