UKRAINE: Odessa
Hard on the heels since Russia pulled out of the Black Sea Grain Initiative and it has launched a relentless barrage of missiles on the Ukrainian port of Odessa for the second night in a veiled attempt to dissuade Ukraine from exporting grain.
Odessa was pivotal in executing Ukraine grain exports under the Black Sea Grain Initiative. Attacks were also reported in the capital, Kyiv. NORTH KOREA
Mystery still surrounds the “capture” of a US Serviceman after he allegedly wandered into the DMZ. The US Military brass are scrabbling to piece together the exact circumstances that led their man into North Korea.
Reports are mixed, some reporting he “wilfully” crossed into NK other reports say that the 21 year old soldier say that he was captured after he strayed over the border while on an orientation trip.  This is a fluid news story – follow updates via @GEO_IntelDesk on Twitter
