BE WARNED: CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS AND SENTENCING TO FOLLOW : THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE PEOPLE AND ORGS DO THE RIGHT THING.

Sellafield Ltd has apologised after pleading guilty to criminal charges relating to a string of Cybersecurity failings at Britain’s most hazardous nuclear site, which it admitted could have threatened national security.

Among the failings at the vast nuclear waste dump in Cumbria was the discovery that 75% of its computer SERVERS were vulnerable to Cyberattacks, Westminster magistrates court in London heard.

We can confirm that we shared information with the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) last year and again this morning as Sellafield remain exposed, as does shockingly, the majority of organizations within the sector including EDF whom we have also informed repeatedly.

A spokesperson for the company said:

“We take cybersecurity extremely seriously at Sellafield, as reflected in our guilty pleas. The charges relate to historic offences and there is no suggestion that public safety was compromised.”

Our email evidencing historic and Real-Time exposure to the ONR, Mr. Euan Hutton Sellafield’s CEO, The Chief Magistrate Mr. Paul Goldspring, and the Minister of State (Minister for Energy and Net Zero), The Rt. Hon Lord Hunt will be made public in a weeks time giving them time to respond.

The entire Nuclear Power sector is awash with basic security errors, oversight, negligence and cover ups just as our Education sector is with Jisc, and our Healthcare sector with the NHS.

It is becoming more and more obvious that SECURITY is NOT a desired state, but a false perspective and narrative.

How many more lives, losses, and costs must citizens endure before enough is enough?
