Europe has been a pioneer in the development of ocean energy technologies. The vast majority of capacity is installed in Europe and most projects around the globe use European technology. However, the rest of the world is catching up, as Canada, the US and China develop their own markets and new domestic champions begin to emerge.
This webinar will focus on new international developments, both in technology and support schemes, as well as examine the future of the global leadership role that Europe currently enjoys in ocean energy technology. Panellists will include leaders from the European Commission’s Research & Innovation, SIMEC Atlantis Energy, Minesto, DP Energy, and Tidal Bridge.
